Mexico 2004 November

Trip #3 to Mexico, we again stayed at Casa Mirador. This time, Kristin and Pablo were resident managers and we had the opportunity to stay in 3 of the 5 rooms. We met Joe, their new young half grown dog, who loved to chase and retrieve tennis balls from the ocean. Several of my favorite photos are from this trip. Views of Conchas Chinas Bay, the tides and sunsets. This one is from the patio of Casa Mirador.
During some of the sunsets, I would walk down to the beach and try some new shots, like catching the waves and splash off the rocks. High tide made this fairly easy.
Really the same palm trees, just another way of seeing them.
Here we are on the patio deck overlooking the ocean.
Just another great sunset.
View from the airplane, just prior to landing.
Our room, second time we stayed in this one.
Migileto's tree house. Place for appetizers and drinks. A large tree growing up through the floors and out the room.Parasailing, did not try this and will wait 4 more years before I do.
Kris and Pablo at El Brujo, the best Mexican food. Just 2 blocks from their place.
Los Arcos, with Judy, Kris and Pablo.
Judy with wooden skeleton man.
We were also there during day of the dead, (dia de los muertos). Families set up displays to honor their lost loved ones.
We found a walk from Casa Mirador to town, some quite rough from the cobblestone paved roads.
We bused up the coast to Punta de Mita, a very small town with great beaches. Spent the day with another couple from Casa Mirador.
The End !
